GAYUMA in Sikatuna?

Two nights ago, my younger brother Jericho went home with a flier.  A flier from Gayuma ni Maria, The Lifestyle Restaurant.  I could not believe it at first.  I Asked him: “Is it the same as the one in Esteban Abada, Xavierville?”  My bro said: “Yep, indeed it is.”

So, good news neighbors and fans of Gayuma.  The Lifestyle Restaurant is now along Maginhawa Street, Sikatuna Village.  25 – 50 meters away from Save More Supermart.

Try their Tuliro, a bed of nachos and lettuce topped with braised beef slivers and a succulently sinful sour cream and cheese dip.

Regulars from the old branch knows their popular cakes such as Pavlova and Better Than Sex (B.T.S.) cakes.  By the way, (B.T.S.) is now known as Beats Sex Anyday (B.S.A.), a rich chocolate mercilessly toppped with butterscotch, cream and chocolate bits.  Some say it should be named Best With Sex.  I don’t think so though.  But, if you’re a sadomasochist and would like to gag with thick chocolate, it’s up to you. lol

Crave Burger, or Goodburgers?

Good news, neighbors.  Crave Burger is in the hood.  Actually, it’s old news because their cashier said they started operation about a month ago.  I did not have my camera when I passed.  So, I don’t have photos to show.  Anyway, they are open daily from 11:00H - 24:00H.  You can find them at 154 Maginhawa Street, Sikatuna Village, Quezon City.  Here’s their number for more info: 435-4088 / 400-3690.  Should you decide to drop by, try their Crave Ultimate Burger.

As most my friends know, I love burgers.  It is probably one of the reasons why I can’t stay a vegetarian.  Today, I am craving for one, maybe two, belly busting burger.  Eating a vegan burger at 162 Maginhawa, Goodburgers, is an option.  But, do I really like to eat the same “healthy burger” again?  I’m really tempted to give in to my authentic, beef craving.  By the way, should you decide to drop by Goodburgers Maginhawa, try their Margherita or Persian Burger.  Call them at 435-4663 for more details.

So, stick with GOODBURGERS or support the new burger joint in the hood, CRAVE BURGER?  One more thing, I’m searching for the biggest and tastiest burger in the Philippines.  Any suggestions?

FREE Wellness Activities @ QC Circle

An exercise tip: If you really intend to run, join a marathon and avoid venues with too much cafes or restaurants.

When was the last time you visited the Quezon City Circle?  For better photos, click here.  My late father brought me and my siblings there during our childhood for bike rides.  During that time, that was the only activity available.  Now, they have more activities to offer.  Aerobics and ballroom classes, badminton, basketball, etc.  They even got Nestle to host Free wellness activities all around the monument’s compound.  Below are the list of venues where Nestle provide their free wellness activities.  I’ll just let the photo speak for itself, ayt?

At 6 in the morning, today, my mom asked me to drive for my youngest brother.  She asked me to bring him there for his daily exercise.  I obliged with the intention of doing my own physical activity which is running and walking the dog. 

Arrived there five minutes after, paid 15 pesos for the parking, and went to our preferred exercise activity.  As you may already know, before any running takes place, you need to warm up.  So, I walked.  I probably walked too much because I ended up not running but having an early breakfast at one of my father’s favorite restos. 

How can one focus with too many distractions?  With these kinds of places, do people come here to work out or eat out?  What would you do?

April 11, Sunday - Divine Mercy Sunday. Lectors are requested wear gala uniform. 3PM will be chaplet to the divine mercy and  3:30PM The Fiesta mass.  This Mass will be televised Live in Channel 4.
